Today the U.S. Government issued its first Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) for the USD $7.2 billion provided under The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) which is aimed at stimulating the economy through development and expansion of broadband services in rural, unserved and underserved areas.
The key to improving the economic and productivity performance of every country in the world lies with the greater and better-focused use of Information and Communications Technology, according to the Connectivity Scorecard 2009, a unique study by Professor Leonard Waverman, which is published today.
